This charming Tudor home in the heart of Playter Estates, Toronto was treated to a full renovation, including an addition, and top to bottom decoration services. Traditional details abound, featuring an antique mantle which was reworked to suit a new gas fireplace unit with a specially designed inset tile surround. The face-frame cabinetry wraps from the foyer, through the kitchen, and ends at a custom breakfast banquette overlooking the pool. The basement den is open to the main floor via a light-filled landing with double French doors and transom, connecting the family spaces. A master suite sanctuary is nestled on the third floor, featuring a custom bed, grasscloth cocooning wall treatment, and vaulted ceiling with integrated skylights. This project has been featured in the media, is the subject of two videos on House & Home’s website, and is in the running for a Sub-Zero Wolf Best Traditional Kitchen Award.
